CCT - Christoff

Christoff works across the northeast of Glasgow, bringing experience from social care alongside a background in civil engineering. Having previously been a participant in our employability programme and supported into internal employment, Christoff’s role reflects the cooperative’s commitment to creating sustainable economic opportunities
Heather (Swamp)

Heather covers the southwest of Glasgow and brings valuable experience from the beauty sector and self‑employment, with strong insight into entrepreneurship and local enterprise.
Lisa (GCDT)

Lisa supports communities in the southeast of Glasgow, drawing on her background in mental health support to deliver people‑centred, compassionate work

EMPLOYABILITY

ESOL

· 32 students supported through ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes.

· Focus on practical communication skills, not national qualifications.

· 4 learners received online support to help overcome additional barriers.

· Of the 28 learners who attended in-person classes, 23 progressed beyond entry level.

· Progression into community-based intermediate learning at Connect via Kelvin College; Thursday’s with a focus on employability, assimilation and practical skills development

· Connector based support offered to find the most suitable ESOL resource
