EMPLOYABILITY

ESOL

· 32 students supported through ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes.

· Progression into community-based intermediate learning at Connect via Kelvin College; Thursday’s with a focus on employability, assimilation and practical skills development

· Focus on practical communication skills, not national qualifications.

· Connector based support offered to find the most suitable ESOL resource

· 4 learners received online support to help overcome additional barriers.

· Of the 28 learners who attended in-person classes, 23 progressed beyond entry level.
